MY NEW CAMERA

On Sunday, Ben bought me a new camera.
Today being Monday, Hannah came home from school and was busy on the
computer. When I got in I made tea and whispered in her ear: ‘I have a
new camera.’ ‘Great, where is it?’ I told her it had to be put together.
She put all the things in place in minutes: the strap on, the battery
in, also the memory card. Her Mum came back rather early from work.
‘Look Mum,’ said Hannah, ‘Gran’s got a new camera and I’ve put it
together for her.’ After our dinner they left and I charged the battery
‘til it went green. Ben helped me to replace it in the camera.
I went into the front room and took a few photos, then upstairs to the
craft room and photographed Wendy Pedigree doll which I’ve had for a
long time, others too, even my Inuit doll. I shot that more than once.
Then I thought it was time for a rest.
This was the beginning of me using my digital camera.
