World Trade Center Memorial by Denise Gould
11th of September was the tenth Anniversary of the planes crashing
through the Twin Towers. Here in England, at the American Church, a
service was held and a white candle lit. The TV coverage moved from the
UK to the USA and back.
On the day of the Anniversary two children were christened at my church,
St Mary’s in Stockport Market Place, a boy and a girl. In commemoration
of 9/11 Reverend Roger, our vicar, put on the notice board: ‘Where were
you that day?’
