Snowy Suffolk
It was a very snowy Suffolk at Christmas. My sister Sarah and her
husband Les were trying to get out to do some shopping on Christmas Eve,
but couldn't get their cars off the drive. It was too icy. Looking out
of the window, the big garden was very picturesque. My Dad used Sarah's
paints and painted a nice winter scene. It made me feel quite cold
looking out onto the snow.
Blizzardy New England, USA
Over on the other side of the world, in New England, where my brother
Simon and his family live, it was a very different story. They had a bad
blizzard after Christmas and had to get their snow ploughs out. I was
sent a flip video of their dogs in the snow in their garden. In America
they are more prepared for the snow. Even so we have had more snow this
winter than they have.
