IS ANYBODY THERE?
Is anybody there?
Can anybody hear me?
Look into my eyes and see the despair deep down here in my soul.
Can’t you feel the hurt and pain that’s here inside me day after day?
Don’t you understand my suffering and know the sadness that’s a part of
me each waking hour?
Can’t you see my tears and share my sorrow?
Is no-one listening?
Is anybody there?
I’m here. Can’t you feel my presence all around you?
Is someone there?
Yes, I’m here. I know the pain and suffering you are feeling. I’m always
listening when no-one else hears your cries. I see the sadness that’s
etched into your face. I’m the friend who’ll stand by you when you think
you’re all alone. My love for you will unlock your prison door, and set
your mind free, and give you peace. I’ll never leave you.
Is anybody there?
Yes – there’s always someone there!
