New Year Resolution
For the New Year
I’ve decided to smile more,
Give my face a rest.
A rest from frowning,
From creasing my brows,
From trying to figure things out
I can do nothing about.
For what does worry do
But give grey hair,
Wrinkles and high blood pressure.
And except for the grace of God
You end up mad too.
