A New Start
A brand New Year
To make a brand new start.
The load is heavy
So we forget our disappointments
And heartaches of last year.
To make the most of this year,
We don’t waste time
Thinking about what we
Should have done differently.
In this year,
We will do our best
At whatever we do and give thanks
That we lived to see another year.
We move forward
On the stage of life
Knowing that we are here
Only for a moment.
Therefore, we will not waste
This year carrying the load
Of last year.
