Poems
A NEW DAWN
Crimson yellow radiance announces a new dawning
A far off shrill from a bill to say good morning
Dew hangs diamante upon a spider's web
On an ear harvest mouse sits for breakfast
Ruminants return to graze to gaze upon the day
Babbling brook confounds the early duck
Leaping on a lea the hare stopped to stare
Below a weir the gathering fallow deer
Above magic mayfly dance the mazurka
Meadowsweet gently sways the day
Dandelions downy tufts float on lifts of air
A warming sun reflects the earth
Powder blue azure rolls away the dawning
Another shrill from another bill its morning.
