Girls

There was a girl

Whose hair wouldn’t

Curl.

She primmed and she preened,

Cried and screamed.

She even went to the extreme.

No matter what she did

Her hair still looked glum.

She looked in the mirror

Then at her mum, she said:

‘Why is my hair red? I’m

Going to bed.’

Her mum then said:

‘Why do both my girls

Want hair that curls?

It’s getting late. Think on, your

Hair will always be straight.

You’re pretty and cute

And very astute.’
