The Third World
To see a land that’s full of need, To hear the children cry. You can’t just close your eyes, And let this pass you by. I try to lend a helping hand, And give what I can give. Just a little of what I have, To let these people live. I know we have the power, We can turn their lives around. Maybe just a water pump, So they can wet the ground. They would grow themselves some food, Have fields of golden grain. They would have lots of things, If they just had some rain. Their land is dry and dusty, There’s no more to be said. We must give them food and drink, To keep these people fed. by Roni Moore The Third World click play button for streaming audio |
