PAIN-FULL-PAIN

A bouncing ball
from bone
to bone

an invisible grabbing hand
that doesn't
let go

a hungry
greedy whale
that eats me whole

a wilful needle
playing, playing
games

a wounding blow
that leaves
no mark

a mysterious thing
-but it's not a hat-
sitting
on my head.
