THE DREAM BOX – ONE I will put into the box . . . . An azure blue sea, the sun reflecting on the calm blue waves A soothing September sunset complete with a purple and scarlet sky A bird in the sky, a fish in the sea, such a beautiful, calm scene. I will put into the box . . . . A unicorn beating its golden wings, high in the sky heading to its destination A jewel shining in the light, relieving everyone around the red ruby The lifting of the World Cup trophy, everyone watching, smiling. My box is fashioned with hopes and dreams, the top encrusted with diamonds and sapphires. The hinges are made with the tails of two gorgeous, lovable, cute puppies. By Joe Lucy (aged 10)

THE DREAM BOX – TWO I will put in the box A bed as soft as the petal of a daisy. A ceiling glimmering like the sparkling stars in the sky. The wonderful scent of the coffee in the fresh new morning. I will put in the box A silver scaled dragon that glimmers of the moonlight. A lion’s mane shining like the golden sun and a unicorn’s horn which glitters like the stars. My box is fashioned from dreams and hopes. The corners are filled with smooth silk cushions made from spiders’ silk. The hinges are as strong as a tree stood firm. By Jordan Davies (aged 11)
