Will I make the beds to day?

Well I may.

Will I do a wash today?

Well quite possible I may.

Because I’m happy and gay,

And I pray I will all ways stay

This way.

I will go out in the sunshine

This time is all mine.

I will make people happy,

And I pray I will all ways

Feel happy and gay.

And make others happy,

Like I have today.
