Outings.

As I was walking in the street one day

I thought I would like to go and stay.

With my sister in the north, I thought

I’d quite like to ride a horse.

Hmm I fell off of course.

As I got home today I thought

That I would like to stay

Very near the river Tay

Oh that was a lovely, lovely day.

Then I thought I’d like to look

At a barn so I went to say

On a farm.

I couldn’t see any harm.

That was a bright and sunny day.

Now I think I will go and stay

I will go and see my brother

Isn’t life wonderful if you plan

Where you want to go and stay

It is such fun when you’re

Making hay.

I came back home today

But I don’t think that I will stay.
