Have you seen a baby when it see’s colours?

Or when it hears music? Or when it hears it’s

Mothers or father’s voice, or when you rock it,

Or when you play with it, you can see the joy in

It’s eye’s. You can see the wonder and joy in it’s

Face when it first starts to move around, and first

Starts to crawl, all so the lovely sound when it gives

It’s first little giggle and laugh.

You can see the astonishment on it’s face

When it first stands on it’s feet, then the

Puzzlement when it takes it’s first steps,

Then the joy when it starts running around

And getting in to mischief .

Is that why it is said that children are a gift?
