We've been together for forty years,

Shared things both good and bad

And I just want to tell you

You are a much loved Husband and Dad,

I know I get annoyed

When your head is in a book

But then I must remember,

I'm still learning how to cook!

You love to give me special gifts

My friends all envy me

But the most precious thing you've given me

Are all our children - Three,

You are getting good at Salsa

And even losing weight

I know you've done it all for me

As anyone can see!
