The Farm

The hens are clucking, the cock is crowing,

The horse is neighing the cows are mooing

They donkey is braying, the pigs are snorting,

The dairy maids are clanging the farmer is shouting

The tractor is chugging the wind is howling

The tress are rustling the birds are singing

The rain is lashing the thunder is banging

The clock is ticking the alarm is going

It’s five o clock in the morning. Oh why do

I live next door to a farm yard?

by Rita Joel.
