JET’S ADVENTURE
Jet is a small black dog and lives with her
owner at the seaside. She loves to go for a run on the beach. Once there
she liked to go for a swim. Her owner would shout for her to go home but
she wouldn’t come.
She was enjoying herself so much she did not hear her owner. She swam
farther out to sea until she started to get tired. When she looked back
the way she had come she couldn’t see the land. She was very frightened
and started to bark.
As she was too far from land her owner could not hear her or see her and
was getting very worried, so she called the coast guard but they were
out. Then some heads started to bob up and down in the sea, there were
two seals swimming nearby, they could see Jet was very tired so they
decided to help her back to the shore. They both swam under her until
they reached the shore, then they put her down and Jet barked a thank
you to the seals. They swam off.
Jet’s owner was very surprised to see two seals bringing her back. She
was glad to get Jet back safe and sound. No one would believe her about
the seals. But we know don't we.
She told the guards that Jet was safe and said she was sorry for
bothering them. She put Jet on her lead and took her home. Jet was very
tired and soon was a sleep, and had a nice dream about the seals.
