JANE GOES TO GNOME LAND
One day Jane was looking out of the window at the
rain. She glanced at the little gnome sitting at the side of the pool in
the garden. All of a sudden she had an idea, so she rushed upstairs for
her magic headband. She put it on and wished to be with the gnomes.
Then there came a big flash and bang and she was in Gnome Land. All the
gnomes were dancing, they asked her to join in. The sky went very dark
and a big hand came down and picked up one of the gnomes and took him
away. Everyone was upset as Joe was their leader and they didn’t know
how to manage without him. Also his wife Sue was crying.
Jane was very annoyed with the person that had taken him, and the people
who take gnomes from their homes. So she told the gnomes not to worry as
she would get Joe back for them. She put her hand on to her headband and
wished to go back home. Then with a flash she was home again.
Jane rushed outside to where Joe used to sit, she saw a young boy
carrying Joe. She told the boy to put him back or she would get her
parents who would call the police. He shoved Joe into her hands and then
ran off. Jane carried Joe back and put him beside the pool.
She looked down. All the gnomes were cheering and dancing. They looked
up and shouted their thanks to Jane, and told her to come and visit
again soon. Jane slowly walked back into the house and she realised she
was very wet so she rushed upstairs to put on some dry clothes.
Jane put away her headband ‘til it was time for another adventure.
