THE GARDEN

A is for Adam who started it all
B is for blossom ready to fall
C is for cottage where flowers abound
D is for dormouse scurrying round
E is for engine part of a mower
F is for fairies asleep in the bower
G is for gate to open and shut
H is for hedgerow ready to cut
I is for ivy climbing the wall
J is for juniper growing so tall
K is for keeping the garden so neat
L is for lilac smelling so sweet
M is for magic of God's great domain
N is for nature that sends down the rain
0 is for onion or is it shallot
P is for planting into a pot
Q is for quince is it orange or red
R is for rake to tidy the bed
S is for spring and sowing the seeds
T is for trowel to dig up the weeds
U is for unicorn made of grey stone
V is for violets all withered and blown
W is for willow weeping and crying
X is for xeros a Greek word for drying
Y is for yellow of harvested crops
Z is for zero when temperature drops
