SUMMERTIME
Summertime is drawing near,
One of my favourite times of the year.
The birds are singing in the trees.
Flowers are buzzing with the bees.
Sipping nice cool lemonade,
Near the pool, in the shade.
All the bees buzzing in my ear,
My sister drinking all the beer.
The sun’s going down for the day.
Summer has begun. Hip, hip, hoorah!
My strange day comes to an end,
Who knows what’s around the bend?
