My First Snowman
There’s snow on the ground.
‘It’s cold out there,’
Mummy says
But I don’t care.
I want to make a snowman,
I’ve seen them on TV.
My Ready brek will keep me warm,
Seen that on TV too.
Wellies on,
Hat and gloves on.
My heart beats fast,
So exciting!
I’m going to make a snowman,
The best ever.
His body big and round.
My hands are getting cold.
I don’t mind!
A nice round head,
A hat of dad’s.
A nice bright carrot for his nose,
Two big black buttons for eyes.
Now he needs a smile!
Some red plastic,
That’ll be OK.
Oh, he needs a scarf!
Another one of dad’s.
Oh no! He needs some buttons.
An old jacket,
Dad’s again.
I love my snowman,
He’s smiling at me.
I can wave at him
Through the window.
Drinking my hot chocolate,
Warming my hands.
The best snowman ever!
