Stockport writer and poet Edward Holdsworth died in September and his poetry was read at the various events during National Poetry Day to honour his memory.
A Poetry Praise Service was held at St Mary's Church, Market Place, Stockport. The Service was taken by the Reverend Roger Scoones. Poems by Edward and other poets were read.
