Let’s Stay Children
Let’s sing a song of sunshine,
Let’s run and dance and play.
Let’s go to the playground,
Let’s stay and play all day.
Let’s not put on make up,
Let’s see how it goes.
Let’s stay young a little longer,
Let’s not wear designer clothes.
Let’s all be like children,
Let’s fly a red balloon.
Let’s sail a boat on a pond,
Let’s not grow up too soon.
I Saw a Fairy
I saw a fairy the other day,
I heard her fairy bell.
I’m sure I saw her flying,
But I will never tell.
I know she lives in our garden,
I watch her where she goes.
I saw her hiding from me,
Behind a big red rose.
I saw her flying upwards,
Into the wide blue sky,
Her tiny wings were fluttering,
Into the clouds so high.
Listen For the Sandman
Have you seen the Sandman?
He’ll help you go to sleep.
He’ll make your eyes feel heavy,
Without you counting sheep.
He creeps around at bed time,
He’s a little elf it’s said.
He loves to see good children,
Sleep soundly in their beds.
Hush, listen for the Sandman,
He’ll be coming soon.
He’ll wait until you fall asleep,
Then creep out of your room.
