The Indigo Kiss
for G.
Your indigo kiss on my shoulder
Reveals secrets born from
Earth warmed by the sun,
By spilling blood of gold and green
Which darkens in the sun.
Your indigo kiss on my lips
Breaks glassy dreams to pieces
the splinters drawing merciless
hot blood from pious fancies,
a thousand tiny swords of light.
Your indigo embrace
Is shaking worlds of meaning,
Creates a chasm in the rock of
secure knowledge
-All things must fade and fail.
Your love of indigo
Shows me the magnificent mountains
With crystal crowns,
The longing of my soul.
You have endowed me like a queen
With worlds of wisdom perishing
In one blue kiss.
