To Write?
With pen as my paint brush
Paper portraying canvas
My imagination my paints.
Poems can create views from a hilltop, journeys or memories
Poems can be statements, opinions even music
I have so many options but my view is misted.
What to write?
Blank page ahead calling my name
Beckoning pen to mark the page’s pristine surface
Letters forming words wander aimlessly over the page with no
destination.
But what to write?
To write your own view, clear the mist from your mind
Follow your own path, create your quest
Paint with the colour of your thought.
I can’t tell you what to write that’s your own decision
But that is how to write
That’s a poem.
