The Eagle's Horizon
A lone sentinel guards his post,
Piercing eyes observe the coast,
Scouring the vista he spies his prey,
One fell swoop and he's across the bay.
Below, the waves attack the shore,
The wind is at his back once more,
The salt sea spray licks his wings,
As the sapphire sea softly sings.
Talons poised, prey meets its end,
Now t'ward horizon he ascends.
The wind to urge him boldly on,
Horizon reached the battle won.
