Time Melted Away
She saw him at the end of the road
Her heart skipped a beat.
How many years had it been?
It seemed like forever.
No news for four years.
The baby wasn't a baby now.
What would she say to him?
How would he be?
She walked slowly towards him
And he towards her.
And as they embraced
Time melted away,
Tears mingled with tears.
A love
Lost and found.
He pushed back her hair
And wiped away the tears
As he brushed away his own.
Take me home sweetheart.
Take me home.
