The Contentment of Knowing
In the stillness of the night
Why do you sit and feel alone?
As the morning mist lifts
Why did you lie and cry?
Don’t you feel us with you,
The love that is surrounding you?
For you are part of us
And we are part of you.
Nothing is ever hopeless
As long as you have faith.
You chose the path you walk
So follow it with pride.
Don’t ever doubt true feelings
That comes right from your heart.
For there lies truth, happiness
And the contentment
Of knowing.
That no matter what
Your life has in store
You will always make it through.
Trust me.
