Children's Delight
Bang, bang, bang, off they go one by one. Jumping Jacks and Aeroplanes
lighting all around you. Then there's the Silver Tree and Rainbow
quickly dropping down their colours.
Oh how the children shout with delight to see three rockets go into the
sky. Now it's time to light the Pyramid with its slender spray of
colours.
"Oh Daddy, is there another one,' the children ask? "Oh there's one
called Snowflakes,' Daddy said. "This is the lot now, they are all gone.
It's time for the potatoes. Potatoes that have been roasted in the
fire.'
Out of the fire the baked potatoes came all piping hot in their jackets.
Mummy fetched some plates and put the hot potatoes on the plates,
cutting off the tops and sprinkling them with salt, giving the children
spoons to scoop out the nice hot and salty potato. "Oh how smashing they
taste,' the children chorused.
