My Rainbow Time
Sitting dreaming in my chair,
drinking tea of a delicate type,
Sun peeps through my window
the yellow, blue, pink and mauve
Casting a shadow on the wall
tinges of green white too hang as
a frill, colours are fading slowly
descending, shorter it goes the shadow
of colour on the wall, light upon it fades
but not yet for it comes and goes
with the shades, my rainbow frill on the wall.
