                                  Gardening

Buying some plants
Some moss too.
Brought them home
For the wire baskets
Had no flowers,
They were empty.
Undoing the bags of moss
Emptied them into a bowl.
So pulling the moss
Here and there,
Fitting it into the basket shape.
First the bottom then the sides.
Unlocking the cupboard
Where soil is kept.
Getting my trowel, filled a bowl.
Trowel by trowel, I packed it in.
Now press it down to see if it’s full.
Ready to plant a pink striped geranium.
Putting two small begonias side by side
A piece of geranium came off.
O what a picture, so I just popped it back.
It will take, I know.
You think I’ve finished, not me.
For out again for two bags of moss
To start the procedure again.
For the other basket had to be done.
Filing it with moss and soil.
Time for the plants, a fuschia of red and blue
Side by side, begonia planted.
Two baskets filled with moss.
Look very nice to me.
